Following the International Paralympic Committee's (IPC) decision on 3 February 2015 that sailing will not be included in the Tokyo 2020 Games, the ISAF Executive conducted a review of the announcement.

Porto Montenegro Yacht Club (PMYC) held its first International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Grade 3 Match Race of the year. The PMYC Match Race took place on the 20th - 22nd March, with five regional teams competing on World Match Racing Tour Blu 26 boats. Tomislav Basic from Croatia, who is the world's no.18 match racer, skippered the winning team.
