Unlocking your phone.

If you bought your phone from another network, you may need to get it unlocked before you can start using it with a Three SIM. You’ll need to contact your old network to do this, go to our Contact Details section below to find out how and soon you’ll be on your way to enjoying the network built for the internet.

Before You Start.

When requesting to unlock your phone you’ll need to provide your IMEI code (this is a unique code which identifies your phone). You can find your IMEI by dialling *#06# .

Contact details.

Vodafone.
To unlock your phone from the Vodafone network, you’ll need to fill in this online form. Once you’ve done this, you’ll receive your unlock code by text or e-mail within a few days.

Meteor.
Meteor customers can request their unlock code by calling 1905 from any phone. Meteor may have your code already on file, if they don’t they must request it from the Manufacturer (this can take a few days and you’ll receive the unlock code via e-mail).

eMobile.
To unlock your eMobile phone you’ll need to contact their unlocking team on 1800-303-466.

O2.
To unlock your phone from the O2 network, you’ll need to fill in this online form. Once you’ve done this, you’ll receive your unlock code by text or e-mail within a few days.

Tesco Mobile.
The quickest way to unlock your Tesco Mobile phone is to fill in this online form.Alternatively, you can call 1749 (from your Tesco phone) or 089-4200000 (from any other phone).

48 or Lyca Mobile.
If you are currently using 48 or Lyca Mobile, your phone is already unlocked.

* Please note that you must fulfil your network’s unlock criteria in order to be eligible for an unlock code. If you are a Bill Pay Customer, this usually means that you’ve completed the minimum term of your contract. If you are a Prepay customer, you usually become eligible for an unlock code once you’ve topped up by €130 since purchasing the phone.
