CICO3* Nations Cup, Fontainebleau, France
This weekend saw Great Britain claim third place at the opening leg of the FEI Nations Cup Eventing series in France. First place went to the host nation with Australia clinching second place just 1.7 penalties ahead of GBR. UK Sport National Lottery funded World Class Development Programme rider Flora Harris made her Nations Cup team debut alongside fellow debutant Nick Gauntlett and 2013 European Championship individual Izzy Taylor.

Barcelona CDI3*, Spain
2014 World Equestrian Games team silver medallist Michael Eilberg enjoyed a winning weekend at the Spanish CDI3* show, taking home no less than five class titles, including the Big Tour Grand Prix, Intermediate I Freestyle, Prix St Georges, Intermediate A and Intermediate B.
UK Sport National Lottery funded World Class Development Programme rider Hayley Watson-Greaves claimed the spoils in the Big Tour Grand Prix Freestyle after posting a huge score of 73.446%. Fellow programme riders Maria Eilberg and Rebecca Edwards also produced impressive results with Maria taking third place in the Intermediate I and Prix St Georges whilst Rebecca took a sixth place finish in the Intermediate I Freestyle.

CSI3* Toscano Tour, Italy
Riding John Roberts and Sarah Mendoza’s 14 year old bay mare, Spirit T, UK Sport National Lottery funded World Class Development Programme rider Jessica Mendoza took a big win in the Grand Prix at last weekend’s Toscano Tour. Producing a double clear jumping round and stopping the clock in 38.53 seconds, the Junior European team gold and individual bronze medallist claimed first place ahead of Ukraine’s Rene Tebble by 1.04 seconds.

CSI3* Sunshine Tour, Spain
It was a great weekend for British showjumper Guy Williams as he recorded a number of top placings out in Vejer de la Frontera, including a win with Basic owned by Di and Pennie Cornish in the Grand Prix. Guy also notched two top placings with Golddigger in the Grand Prix Tour C 1.45m classes and two second placings aboard Depardieu Van T Kiezelhof in the Grand Prix Tour B 1.40m.

Addington Manor EC, Great Britain
It was a busy weekend for GBR dressage riders including several of the UK Sport National Lottery funded World Class Development Programme athletes as they lined up for Addington Manor Equestrian Centre’s CDI competition in Buckingham.
In the Grand Prix it was Nikki Crisp aboard Pasoa who took the win, just ahead of France’s Marc Boblet, with the placings repeated in the Grand Prix Freestyle test. Recording top placings in the U25 Grand Prix and Freestyle classes was Alex Hardwick with Mr & Mrs Hardwick’s Donauwein, with Paralympian Sophie Wells (aboard Pinocchio) a close second in the Grand Prix.
Phoebe Peters produced some good results in the Pony tests, in a competitive class alongside Germany’s Semmieke Rothenberger.
