    Tommy Craggs is Gawker Media's executive editor, overseeing all eight sites and their assorted subdomains. He was editor of Deadspin from 2012 through 2014 and a staff writer there before that. His work has also appeared in Play: The New York Times Sports Magazine, Slate, New York Magazine, Boston Magazine, SF Weekly, the Best American Sports Writing 2004 and 2008, and a bunch of other places.

    Nick Denton is founder of Gawker Media. Before building a media business out of blogs, Nick founded two internet ventures in the late 1990s: Moreover Technologies, the news search provider, acquired by Verisign; and First Tuesday. Nick — who is half-Hungarian — began his media career as a reporter for the Economist and the Financial Times during the fall of communism in Eastern Europe. While the FT's investment banking correspondent he co-wrote All That Glitters, the account of the rogue trader who brought down Barings Bank.

    Heather Dietrick is President & General Counsel of Gawker Media and oversees all things legal. Before joining Gawker, Heather worked in-house at a multinational media company, clerked in the Eastern District of New York, and practiced as an intellectual property and media attorney for two of New York’s leading law firms. Heather holds a JD/MBA from the University of Michigan. She is a fast walker and a fierce defender of the First Amendment.

    Andrew Gorenstein is President, Advertising & Partnerships of Gawker Media Group, managing all aspects of revenue generation, including Gawker's Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Ad Operations, and Studio@Gawker teams. He is a seasoned sales executive with over a decade of digital sales and management experience. Prior to joining Gawker, he was Senior Executive Director for the Condé Nast Media Group, overseeing day-to-day digital sales operations.

    Chief Operating Officer
    Scott Kidder is Chief Operating Officer for leading digital publisher Gawker Media, overseeing global operations, including finance and analysis, legal, people and talent, facilities, special projects, and whatever else he sticks his nose in. One of the company’s first non-editorial hires, Scott has been with Gawker since 2005, and is an avid traveler and a graduate of New York University.

    Erin Pettigrew is Chief Strategy Officer at Gawker Media. Since joining the company in 2005, she has built its key revenue products and grown its core revenue operations teams. Her business development focus includes expanding Gawker Media's revenue breadth with commerce, ad products, content licensing, and international partnerships. Erin is also a former professional dancer and graduate of Yale University.

    Chief Technology Officer
    Thomas Plunkett is Gawker Media's Chief Technology Officer, overseeing Technology and leading Product development. Prior to joining Gawker Media in 2005, Thomas was CTO of Bolt Media, one of the first social networking sites, and spent several years in academia, co-founding sites focused on education and content in the fields of Archaeology and Anthropology. More recently he is the co-founder of SuperGlued, a social music event platform, and in the recent past co-founded a video management and sharing web site. He attended the University of Connecticut where he earned his Masters in Anthropology. When not working you will find him cycling and kayaking around and near New York City.
