OnBoard is runner-up in Y&Y Award 

Thanks to all who voted for the scheme in this year's awards

RYA OnBoard came a very close second in the 2015 Yachts & Yachting British Sailing Award, revealed on 15 January at the CMWFX London Boat Show. After thousands of votes cast by readers of Yachts & Yachting Magazine, Volvo Car UK was the winner, but “trailing Volvo by a smattering of votes was runner up, RYA OnBoard, which has introduced sailing to over half a million youngsters since it was set up in 2005.”

We would like to thank all of you who voted for OnBoard, and everyone who has been part of this amazing scheme during the past ten years – including Helford River Children’s Sailing Trust, which was itself nominated for the same award. We are very proud of this achievement.
