The Prize Giving for the 2014 season was held at the club on Saturday 21st March. It was a very pleasant evening with food provided by Adam and Ellie and good beer from the bar - an ideal opportunity to catch up with last year’s prize winners and chat about the new season. Thanks also to Maria and Craig for getting the prizes sorted out. The list of prize winners is attached below and some photos from the evening can be found in the gallery above. Congratulations to everyone that took home a trophy.

Brett Cockayne will be returning to BSC for Tuesday evening race coaching, starting from 14th April. Sessions start at 6pm; boats on the water by 6:30; sessions will keep going until the light runs out!
Our Flying Fifteen fleet will be running an extensive programme of training this year, finishing with the Burton SC open meeting in September. For more details, download the 2015 programme here.

As of today, Burton SC is an RYA-approved keelboat training centre! We will now be able to provide keelboat endorsements on all future 'learn to sail' courses. For up-coming course dates, see the Training tab above.
We will be running a series of talks over the next few weeks. These talks will take place on Wednesday evenings starting at around 7.30pm and will cover a variety of topics. Wednesday 11th February - Kevin Bloor of Alverbank Sails will be our guest delivering a wonderful talk on the Racing Rules of Sailing. He will be covering the most common rules used and abused within club racing and enhancing your understanding of how to use them to your advantage whilst out on the water.
