We sail on Budworth Mere, one of the most attractive inland waters in Cheshire. Located near Northwich, this is close to the motorway network and very easily accessed from Warrington, South Manchester and Knutsford as well as other parts of the North West.

The first Team Racing event of 2015 was held in February between Budworth and South Staffs Sailing Clubs, as Andy Reilly reports:
The day was bright and breezy and racing was only really possible due to the help from South Staffs providing some small mainsails. South Staffs brought an adult and youth team and Budworth pulled together one team of Russell, Russell, Anabel, Ali, Hugh and Steve.

The annual club open day is on Saturday May 9th. This is where we invite any potential new members to the club for a taster of the sport and facilities that Budworth has to offer. Please encourage any friends/colleagues to come down and give sailing a try. There will be boats, lifejackets and some sailing gear to borrow. Also food will be available and the bar will be open. We will have all the fleets represented and there will be special offers on the day for new members…
