Whether you’re a complete beginner or a budding instructor, UKSA has a dinghy sailing course to suit your needs.

Our Dinghy Start courses are designed to help complete beginners get to grips with essentials like steering, sail handling, rope work and safety at sea. You can then hone your skills further on our Dinghy Improver course before moving up to higher-level courses.

Dinghy Advanced gives you the chance to experience the excitement of high-performance dinghy sailing and use asymmetric spinnakers. And Dinghy Advanced Plus will teach you a confident and safe approach to planning and executing short cruises in open boats and difficult weather conditions.

If you’re keen to pass on your sailing skills to others, then our Dinghy Instructor course is for you. It allows successful candidates to teach the RYA syllabus.
