    This was a good series with an excellent cast. And I wish it had not been burdened by comparison to the British series. There is room in the viewing universe for every interpretation. At least the Brit version of House of Cards was long over when Spacey's Netflix series was presented. I would love to have seen more of Tennant and the superb Anna Gunn.

    I really enjoyed it and love David Tennent. I have seen the British show Broadbeach that this show is 'copied' from. It is a shame that America cannot come up with it's own ideas. The British show is going into another season with the trial of the detectives husband.. On Broadchurch the detective's husband was the murderer, on Gracepoint they added the child. Unfortunately I don't think it will be renewed, which it should. Television 'experts' cannot seem to be able to understand that we don't want to see all these reality shows and even the CSI and Law and Order series are getting boring. Gracepoint should be given other chance.moreless

    Great show. I've been a fan of these types of one season who done-its since Harper's Island. I think the killer is the detective Ellie Miller's husband. No particular reason why except it is never who you expect it to be and he has never been in the spotlight. I thought this before episode 9. But Susan (the creepy lady) revealed that her kids were taken away from her for her husbands crimes, Ellie believes Susan either knew or should have known what her husband was doing. I believe this will be ironic for detective not (if i'm wrong).moreless

    After watching the first episode of GP, I was hooked. Good storyline, good acting, and good characters. I like the mood of the story. Sorry that Nick Nolte's character committed suicide, he was excellent! Was hoping GP would be renewed, but looks like mediocre won out over quality this time.

    Just discovered this show last night and I was up until 2am for the first 3 episodes and then had to "gobble up" three more today. Great acting and well-written! Can't wait to watch the rest of this little masterpiece!
