Overview

Great Britain won the gold medal in the mixed coxed fours at London 2012 with Lily van den Broecke (cox), Naomi Riches, Pam Relph, James Roe and David Smith in the boat.

In Rio, athletes will compete at the Lagoa Stadium, on Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas which seats 14,000 spectators. The lake comes with a spectacular backdrop of mountains, Tijuca National Forest and Christ the Redeemer.

Paralympic rowing events are raced over a distance of 1,000 metres with categories including the men’s sculls, women’s sculls, double sculls and the mixed coxed fours.
