I'll be straight up. I don't have a kid. Never did. I bought this primarily for school and work purposes. I was looking for a bag that I can use on a general daily basis. This bag goes with me EVERYWHERE. It has been the best bag I've ever owned, and I don't plan on buying another bag unless it's to reorder this one. I don't use any other bag, ever.
Firstly, this bag is just super cute. The striped design is modern and chic, and the brown handles with the red trim make it so stylish. I'd never look at this bag and think it's a diaper bag. A lot of people who have seen me with it don't know. It's just very attractive. It's also lighter than I expected. Because of it's various handles (which is a plus-- when I'm in a crowded train, I can hold it from the short handles to keep it off the floor), I expected it to be a burden on my shoulder. Not the case. It's very comfortable and light. The material is also very strong. I've been using it for over a year and there has been not a single wear or tear on this thing. I've put things from laptops and hefty books, to water bottles and beach supplies in this bag. I travel to different states with it, pile my schoolwork into it, carry my lunch in it, and basically use it for just about anything you could imagine (except to go to high-end parties).
My absolute favorite part of this bag are the compartments. This is probably why it's great for a diaper bag. There are SO MANY POCKETS! This is a dream come true for me. I love pockets. It keeps everything I could possible organize, organized. Every spot on this bag has a place for something appropriate. There are even pockets on the side of the bag where I keep things like my pads or my wallet so it's discreet. For someone who is very organized, this is the perfect bag for you. And if you're not so organized, I'm sure this bag will force you to be a bit more conscience of where you keep your things. It's perfection for keeping things in order. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a great quality daily handbag.
