Photo of the month

Well only a few entries this month for Photo of the Month but what lovely shots they all are. Our winner for April is Val Newton for her picture entitled ‘Sailing on a puddle’. Val from Welwyn Garden City Sailing Club explained:

"Our sailing lake is just 15.3 acres in size - a mere puddle compared to most - but every Saturday morning we have a mixed fleet of at least 14 dinghies racing their hearts out. Competition is very keen!" I just loved the story that went behind the picture as well. Thanks for sending it in Val.

Val’s picture will now take pride of place as the header image for the RYA Facebook page.
Photo of the month
Keep sending in your favourite boating pictures and one lucky image will be chosen as Photo of the month and cover shot. Send your pictures and a short caption to editor.inbrief@rya.org.uk
