Product Description

Just in time for snorkeling season, an exclusive,  complete, color-coordinated,  high-end snorkeling set from Seavenger -- all for an amazing low-end price.  You’d expect to pay as much for any one of these great snorkel items as you are for the whole package!
  • Dry Top Snorkel.  For snorkeling, the most desirable snorkel is this Dry Top with splash guard allowing you full head mobility while minimizing water entering.  Also has Purge Valve for fast water clearance.  Made entirely of top grade silicone, the tube and mouthpiece of this snorkel are extremely bendy. Add to that the mouthpiece’s angle, and you have an easy-breathing snorkel that allows your jaw muscles to relax.
  • Trek Fin.  Ideal for snorkeling, a short, powerful fin, agile enough to be also used as a bodyboarding fin. The foot pocket is super-comfortable, fins feature vented blades that jet water backwards on downstroke, and promote maximum propulsion.   Quick-release, easily adjustable strap.
  • Single Lens Mask.  From Seavenger’s own line of specially designed and developed masks, this mask will give you the panoramic view you are looking for in a snorkel mask.   Mask has many high end features like high-quality silicone skirt, tempered glass raked lens with inverted tear drop shape that brings lens as close to your pupils as possible, and more.
  •  Gear Bag.  Our whole Snorkel Set fits in this convenient, compact, fast-drying plastic mesh bag.  Features convenient draw string closure. Taking it with you or hanging it up - either way, it’s a cinch!

I truly didn't know what to expect, aside from the other good reviews I read. The package arrived on schedule [same day Amazon said it would] and the first thing I noticed was how light the set was. That kinda worried me...until I tried them on. I'm a scuba diver, have been for over three decades, and have to trust my equipment. I took the set to the pool to test them out [didn't want to get to the Caribbean and be stuck...] and fitted everything. The mask was very easy to adjust, which was a plus. Even better, it fit like a glove. I have a fairly large head, and the silicon adjustable straps work and stretch amazing well. The snorkel fits to the mask well, and the fins are easily adjustable also. I'm a men's size 10.5 and there was still lots of room to adjust bigger, or way smaller if needed. The fins are pretty small in length...maybe a foot[?] long. My scuba fins are about 2 ft long so again, I was a little concerned. Not to fear. Once I donned the equipment and hopped in the pool, very pleasantly surprised. I motored thru the pool fairly easily. Not as fast as my dive fins but almost as fast. The set is so light I can pack it in my bag and it won't take up much weight at all. I just bought another set tonight...for me! I bought the first set for my Lovely wife [she's a women's size 9.5] and they fit her nicely also. I mainly bought the set for the snorkel as it's very comfortable and has the flex hose so it adjusts wherever you need it. I've been using the same snorkel for 35 years from when I first started diving. This one is much more comfortable. Just buying a dive snorkel alone costs around $20-$30 so I scored big time. One last thought. I like the two lenses in the facemask. I have a panorama [4 lenses] facemask also, and there's little to no difference in sight. Don't waste your $$ on the "single lens" also sold by Seavenger. Highly recommend this set! If it later breaks, I'll let everyone know!

Especially for the price, I could not believe how great this set worked! Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!! I've never used a snorkel that worked so well. Could go underwater and come out without any water getting in. Would recommend spraying the goggles with a no-fog spray. They did fog over without it.

Just came back from vacation in U.S. Virgin Islands and here is a summary of the set:

Pros:
1. Great price
2. Good quality
3. Easy to pack
4. Mask did not leak at all
5. Lasted the whole vacation and saved me $10 per day to rent equipment
6. Color is awesome (neon yellow)

Cons:
1. Fins are more comfortable if you buy neoprene socks
2. Snorkel does not let a lot of air through (compared to my old one)
3. Storage pouch that comes with equipment should have a shoulder strap

Overall very nice!

We bought five sets of these for our first ever trip to Hawaii, so we could snorkel without having to worry about renting equipment. These were used for three kids from ages 10 to 14, as well as my wife and I. They were perfect and high quality for the price. Had never used a "dry snorkel", and it was amazing to not have any water coming in from the waves or when diving underwater.

Snorkel and mask both work great. The fins are just okay. The shorter design really cuts down on how fast you move through the water. Only a little better than not wearing fins at all.

I'm a rookie snorkeler, and had no problems at all using this gear. Everything fit well, and the colors looked great too. There were no leaks as long as I made sure it was snug and all my hair was out of the way. Fins provided great motion and were small enough to easily pack. The air tube did not let any water in.
For those who state it kept them from breathing, I should point out my wife had that same issue...it happened when the air intake end was submersed in water while she wasn't paying attention. Of course it won't let you breath if the intake end is under water, how else would it keep water out? A simple fix - make sure the intake is above water before breathing and if that doesn't work exhale sharply to expel any water in the tip of the tube then repeat inhaling...just sayin.

We just got back from Maui and this set met all of our needs. We snorkeled up and down the coast from La Perouse bay to Kapulua Bay and went on a snorkel cruise to Molokini and Turtle Town and were well satisfied. (Btw, highly recommend the Lani Kai for snorkel cruise).

As far as the negative reviews that say the fins are too small or that the mask and snorkel are "junk" as one reviewer put it all I can say is that was not our experience. I initially ordered two sets, but because of those negative reviews I ordered a more expensive US Diver set for my 14 year old daughter thinking we'd have at least one good set for her. What happened is my daughter complained about her mask and snorkel getting water in them and so used my Seavenger set. I ended up with her US Diver set and after using it I agreed the US Diver snorkel was inferior to the Seavenger snorkel. The Seavenger snorkel was dryer. On top of that on the first day the mask clip broke on the USD snorkel which meant I had to hold it upright with one hand to use it. No such problem occurred with either Seavenger set during our entire stay.

As further confirmation that the Seavenger is a good set my wife who in the past has felt uncomfortable snorkeling said that this set made her feel at ease and she was able to enjoy snorkeling more than she ever had before.

Finally on the fins. They are small and I was worried the web material was too brittle and might break on rocks. I walked on a lot of rocks and they held up just fine. Perhaps if I would have had bigger fins I would have understood what reviewers that complained about the size were talking about, but since I didn't have that comparison to make I was quite satisfied.

As with many things one's expectations no doubt play a role in whether one will be satisfied with a product and I don't mean to suggest that this is anything more than a vacation snorkel set, but for that purpose its perfect.
