Morning Star is now safely in Fredrikstad after a hard race. The race was declared over at 1200 yesterday at which point Morning Star was third in class B. This remains the provisional result - see the article on the Sail Training International website.
The crew can expect a few days of fun and festivities in port!
Just in from the satellite phone aboard Morning Star: "Sun shining and waves have died down, so life is good again. Judging by the banter there is a great atmosphere on board. The race finishes thur 1230 utc"
Morning Star is still lying 3rd in class and has been battling strong headwinds.
