I've played Minecraft on the pc, xbox, and now on my kindle. This app runs so smooth that it's worth every penny. I can throw some relaxing music on Spotify and drift into my own land with Minecraft PE..it's well worth your time because it's so easy to pick up and play anywhere. If you don't need to play online with full features and mods, then just pick this up for a great individual experience...unless you can LAN with your friends...
Maybe the developers will add servers. I'm sure it would take a lot of work to get all these devices online, but it would be the only update this game needs. Overall, this is worth your money if you have or haven't played other versions of Minecraft. Especially for the creative of heart. Hope this helps.

my godchildren both play minecraft and love it. The 10 year old is building libraries, putting photos on walls, designing beautiful houses and gardens. Keeps him creative. The older godson also enjoys playing minecraft. Definitely worth buying.
