I enjoy this game.
Has a few glitches and there are some things in the game that there is no explanation for which is quite frustrating. Overall though, it's awesome.

Also, the time frames that they expect you to play is ridiculous, UNLESS YOU BUY FRIGGIN STARS. I thought this was fun at first, but the more I played, the stupider the game got with errors and the time frames to build stuff. one plot of land takes 8 hours. another building advertises 120 hours, so you'll either need to leave the game running for hours, OR you BUY SOME FRIGGIN STARS. I don't recommend this game unless they cahnge the hours you need to spend playing this game.

This game will lose your progress (hours of play time and potentially $$$),
This review is from: World at Arms (Fire TV Edition) (App)
This game works on the premise that you build up an economy using various resources (money, fuel, energy, etc.) for which you need to build structures and units, complete quests, and fight enemies. It's actually fun if also very tedious -- you have to physically collect each resource from your structures using the poor controller or even game controller. However, going past the tedium, it's still enjoyable. Some structures take hours and hours to build. Some units take the same. So going from level to level starts to take a while after not too long. The problem is this: The game, even when exited correctly, will lose your data. This can cost you half of your most recent session's play time. And this happens frequently based on my own experience and other people's reviews. Do not waste your time with this game. There is no reason to believe that anything is changing to ensure this game operates as expected. Frankly, this should be a game that can be played offline with data stored locally if you like. But you cannot because they want to extract money from you to make in game purchases, which is not necessary to play the game. But if you do decide to go that route and then lose your progress, then you just lost your money. And that will happen. Do not get this game.

Frequently Crashes and Loses Progress,

Random crashes. That's a minor annoyance, but the real problem is that it loses game progress. It will sometimes lose several hours of progress. It did this to me three times in a row (after an hour or more each time). Redoing the exact same things you did previously is silly. Cannot imagine how anyone can put up with that. I'm done with the game.
Weird thing is that not everything will reset though. Sometimes your score and money will reset, but you will still have the buildings you'd just built. Other times it remembers your experience, but not your level. Very lame.

Complete waste of time. Fckn worthless game crashes after 3 hours of play & resets everything after I had a 50 conflict winning streak. Never again. I'm staying away from this game & company unless they want to make it right and give me $20 worth of in-game credit to recover my previous progress.

This game has potential but the glitches and the in app purchasing needs to be taken care of. I spent hours building and spending money only to have the game crash and not save my progress which is total B.S. I uninstalled it and will never play it again!

Gameloft is Lamesoft,

Gamesoft or"Lamesoft" as it is known in the community of players, is a game for hackers and cheats. I would hate to think how many hours are dedicated by players in notifying Gamesoft (with screenshots) of factions that are full of hackers and/or individual hackers.
The latest update was supposed to provide numbers (dogtags) for individuals and factions, change the way bounties are placed in revenge attacks, stop players from using 2 devices under the same registered player name and a whole lot more. Hackers were certainly on the radar for the update. Just after the update was rolled out, a faction event started, to my surprise the first 6 places in the event were held by hackers. In two events after the update, hackers held positions 1 - 6. Not a bad result considering the first 3 spots picked up 120,000 thorium, a ton of units and about 30,000 hearts (if you don't know what I am talking about play the game). The final update was for Android, of which, my kindle fit the bill, initially a dialogue box appeared which gave me an option (OK accept) or Cancel. Obviously, I took the easy way and selected cancel. This went on for about a week and I was waiting for the day when I did not have an option, now the day had arrived. I clicked update, it then took me to a web page, stuttered and went back to the original screen with the update, click again, same result, again again and in the end no joy. Sent an email to the Lamesoft Customer Care and received a ticket number and nothing since not even a hello. It has now been a week and nothing.........maybe Amazon should give Gamesoft the bullet, won't happen too much money involved. I checked the Gameloft notification to the markets (financial) which, a Gameloft spokesman (CEO from memory) stated their earnings were down as they had not released enough games as they wanted during the year. So, my question is, if Gamesoft are reliant on new game release to stimulate income, what spending is allocated to their existing games? The game is great, we have built a strong faction, and my beef at this stage is I can't get into the game due to the update that was supposed to fix so many problems.............Not sure how many can't get into the game, but it could be many. If you want customer service when you purchase in game stuff, then go to another game that is not owned or designed by Lamesoft. Cheers Happy Gaming

Sure it's not totally original, but if you want a nicely polished strategy/city builder game, this is a good choice for FireTV. The controls are intuitive, considering the platform, and the animations are a nice touch. If you miss the defunct Empires and Allies, this is a good free-to-play game (with micro-transactions, of course).
