HBOGo has every service provider in the Universe, it seems. I can watch all my programs simply by choosing "Dish" and entering my username and password with them.
Shotime currently lists only 5 providers. That is an increase from what 2 or 3... a year ago when I last tried using Sho's app?
Does it really take that long to get the same service providers on board and let ALL paying subscribers of Shotime use their app?
Read so many other reviews... "can't use this because my {provider] isn't listed."
Hire someone from HBO apps, Showtime, to get the deals done and all providers listed.

This app only works with a small number of cable or fios providers. Not Time Waner, not Brighthouse, not Charter. Product should not be rolled out until it can be used by the majority of the people. Uninstalled.

I was very excited to finally get Showtime Anytime for my Kindlefire..it installed and signed me into my Xfinity account w showtime easily. However after a day of watching and enjoying it..now the app will not work. Error says no Internet access and cannot use outside of U.S.

This app works great on my Kindle Fire now that Cox Cable has finally been included as a provider. Recent shows are available but not older shows such as Weeds, which have been sold off to Netflix and others. HBO Go seems to keep more of their proprietary shows.

Only four cable providers in the set-up menu. No Time-Warner, one of the largest systems in the country. Showtime should have delayed app launch until the number of compatible providers was at least double what it is now.
