Use the timer option and turn hue into your morning wake up call. Set your lights to gradually brighten over time, waking you up in a rather more civilized fashion. Better still, you can create a scene from the image of a rising sun and turn hue into your own personal sunrise.
Welcome home...
If you're working late or out for the night, you can simply turn your wireless lights on or off remotely, making it look like you're home even when you're not. You can set your lights to come on at a preset time — perfect if you are away on vacation but want people to think you're still home. It's easy to have your lights set to come on just before you arrive home from work. You'll never have to come back to a dark house again.
Relive a favorite moment...
With hue, any photo on your smartphone becomes a palette to paint with light, enabling you to bring back the memories of an epic vacation or capture the vibrancy of a summer day. Drag the picker across a photo to select a color within the image. Or use the white light scale to pick a perfect tone. Your selected wireless bulb will reflect that choice instantly. And once you're happy with the scene, simply save it to use again.

Timer function — use light to help you through your sleeping routine
The timer function not only lets you preset what time your Friends of hue LightStrips comes on, it also lets you adjust your lights gradually over time and the course of your day. Use it to turn your Friends of hue Bloom into your wake up light — preset it for gradual brightness intensity to wake you up in a soft and gentle way versus the sudden beep or ring of a conventional alarm clock. At night, you can preset the timer to turn your lights off gradually to help you fall asleep naturally.
Light dynamics — enjoy dynamic light effects synced to your moment
