Conair for Men Even Cut

I don't regret purchases... until now. The 'Even Cut' seemed like a great idea; keep a short even haircut easily and quickly.

I have tried many configurations with this product: dry hair, hair at the end of the day without washing, and after washing, to no avail. It leaves many hairs uncut, and really doesn't 'grab' hairs that are laying flat on your head, it simply cuts the hair that is sticking out vertically.

Now you may be thinking, well he just didn't go over the hair enough times! Good thought, but you couldn't be more wrong. I wasted 15-20 minutes using it, and there were still uncut hairs.

The other problem is sideburns, around the ears, and the back of the head/neck. Don't even bother trying to use this razor on these parts, take it from an experienced professional, it won't work.

Great idea in theory, but falls very short of being practical.

There are a few issues with this product. First the battery won't last even though I charged it 16h+ for the first time.The big problem is that IF the battery is not fully charged trying to use it corded still won't work with weak battery. I'll just slowly rotate.You have to wait until it charges. So I've been waiting there with my halfway shaved head for 20 min luckily It was in the evening I didn't had to go anywhere any soon.
The blades don't feel very sharp sometimes it pulls on my hair even though I'm just trying to maintain my short hair going for Nr2 to Nr1. It also heats up quite well during the first 2 -5 min of operation while the battery have juice in it hen slows down and unable to cut anymore.
I bought two pairs to save on shipping on Ebay one for my brother and one for myself. They are both the same. I regret I bought them. I am looking now for a similar good quality product I will do my research at this time.

Performs as stated and makes it really easy to maintain a short haircut. I use it on level 1 (1/8"), once a week, and it takes about 5 minutes to get a nice, even cut. I can't comment on longer cuts.

Two small things I don't like: 1) there's mention of three oiling holes within the cutting head; no chance of finding those. Maybe the design was changed since the instructions were printed? I put a couple of drops of oil directly on the running blades, and that seems to work fine. 2) it takes a 16 hour charge for 20 minutes of cutting. Did they dig the batteries out of 1980s cell phones? C'mon, let's see some good batteries - read li-ion or better. That being said, you can use it while it's plugged in. I trim my hair while standing in the shower (WATER OFF) to make clean-up easier.

not bad , works well on short hair, not as good as the electronic clippers but works well for a for a quick clip.

Work fine on my hair, still need to clip the bottom around the ear and the back.
A lithion battery would be better too.

Using it also on my younger kid, work perfectly.

Works very good on the head but I am leary of using it on my beard as the chin might go into the centre of the cutters area

Do not waste your money like I did. First, if your hair is not perfectly straight this product will barely do it's intended task. Now for people who say we are not using it properly, how hard can it be to use this clipper? Even if I go around my hair for half an hour in alternating circular motions there are still uneven spots. Oh and I guess the guys at Conair forgot we have hair in the back of our head because this thing will not even come close to remove it. This is my first review, and I made only to save people the hassle of putting this thing in a garbage bag worth more than the product itself.

It broke after one month of use. The battery sucks just like the last conair that I owned.I am ordering a Phillips Clipper with a lithium ion battery hopefully it will last longer.

I have cut my hair as a number 2 for 20+ years. I figured it would be easy enough with this product to do that.
I had to get my wife to use the regular clips to clean up the mess. Plus I've never been coveted in hair like that before.
And the battery sucks. I barely finished (if you can call it that) on a full charge.
Neat idea, but crap execution.
