The fit of the strap is comfortable and snug.
There is a layer of leather on the inside face of the nylon strap. So no worries about the material absorbing your sweat and smelling bad.

This is a very nice watch for the price. I do like the large clock face but that was my preference. It is a handsome looking piiece, the date area can be hard to read given in darkened background, I would prefer a white background for the date area. You feel this watch on your wrist so if you are used to a lighter watch you might be disappointed.
