Suppliers to the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games can now champion their involvement in the sporting spectacular, after a landmark deal reached by the Government, British Olympic Association (BOA) and International Olympic Committee (IOC). The new Scheme – the first of its kind - will give eligible suppliers recognition for the part they played in the success of the London 2012 Games.

“For a small British company, the London 2012 Supplier Recognition Scheme makes all our hard work and perseverance over the last three years justifiable, and a tangible benefit in return for our significant investment. In supplying personal London 2012 mementos to athletes, coaches, official, volunteers, sponsors, spectators and the British public via our onsite and online platforms, we have an unrivalled case study. Combined with experience gained and lessons learned from London 2012, we have a template for other major events which we can now refer to as a result of the Supplier Recognition Scheme. We found the collation and submission of the data required to be straight-forward, and we were delighted with the speed with which we received BOA approval.”
