Nomination deadline extended for RYA Scotland Annual Awards 

The deadline for nominations for the RYA Scotland Annual Awards has been extended so there is still time to get yours in.

We have had some great nominations through for the RYA Scotland Annual Awards but we want to give everyone one last chance to get their nomination in.

The new and final deadline for nominations is the end of the day on Sunday 16 November 2014. It is that time of year at the end of the season when all the clubs are getting together for their own celebrations and awards so why not nominate your winners or nominees for the RYA Scotland awards?

The categories for nomination are:

• Coach of the Year
• Instructor of the Year
• Official of the Year - new award for 2014!
• Volunteer of the Year - sponsored by Clyde Challenger
• Young Volunteer of the Year
• Club of the Year - sponsored by Thames Water Commercial Services
• Elizabeth Mackay Award - for female endeavours in sailing

Being shortlisted or winning any of the awards brings fantastic recognition for your club or training centre as well as a well deserved thank you to the person/club nominated. Please take a few minutes to nominate and try to give us as much detail as possible to help the judging panel with their difficult decisions.
