Scotland welcomes the world for Homecoming Scotland 2014.

Celebrate the very best of Scotland's unique nature and natural landscapes, active experiences, our fantastic natural larder, as well as our creativity, culture and ancestral heritage. Scotland will play host to two major world-class events in 2014. Firstly the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in July, this is the first time in over 40 years that the event has been held in Scotland, and secondly the Ryder Cup at historic Gleneagles in September. This is also the first time in over 40 years that this tournament has been staged in Scotland. In addition some other fantastic events will take place, including the John Muir Festival in April, celebrating our exceptional Scot-born naturalist. Find out more on www.homecomingscotland.com
