How to apply for RYA recognition
Training centres may apply for recognition from the RYA to run courses in the following training schemes:

The first thing you need to do is identify the type of courses you want to offer and apply to the RYA for recognition.
Many types of recognition require an inspection, which will be arranged on receipt of your application if all the initial requirements are met. When our inspector is happy that your centre complies with RYA requirements, a report will be submitted to recommend that recognition should be granted. Recognition is then granted by the RYA, at which time you will receive confirmation through the post and may start running and promoting courses.
RYA courses must not be run or be publicised until written confirmation of recognition is received.
