A great day…

I had an amazing day at Sports Fest! Being a bilateral below knee amputee I didn't think I could become heavily involved in sports... that is until I watched the Paralympics! Yesterday I tried sitting volleyball, archery and wheelchair basketball, as well as meeting the lovely and very inspiring Jonnie Peacock.

What a fabulous day it was, enjoyed by all. The smiles on our students faces as they walked round and met people, chased autographs and tried sports we've not tried before, and not least, the silence in the bus on the way home as they slept!! Please, please, PLEASE do the same again next year!
