Suppliers to the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games can now champion their involvement in the sporting spectacular, after a landmark deal reached by the Government, British Olympic Association (BOA) and International Olympic Committee (IOC). The new Scheme – the first of its kind - will give eligible suppliers recognition for the part they played in the success of the London 2012 Games.

“We thought the Supplier Recognition Scheme was great. It was incredibly simple to operate and helped us to get a relevant designation for the service we provided to the London 2012 Games.
“As a sub-contractor we wanted to share in the positive legacy of the London 2012 Games and make the most of the opportunity to tell the story about our contribution. Without the Supplier Recognition Scheme this would have remained our best kept secret. Our letter of recognition from the Director of ODA Transport provided all the evidence required and I could hardly believe how quickly our application was processed. We have now written a short case study to use it in our marketing portfolio which has received a very positive response and a number of enquiries about how Leading Change can support mission rehearsal and operational readiness.”
