More than 260 people from around the Paralympic Movement are in Berlin, Germany, this weekend (3-5 October) for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Membership Gathering which opened on Friday (3 October).

Sport England invests £2.1 million to get more disabled people playing sport
Sport England has today provided a further boost to disability sport by awarding £2.1 million of National Lottery funding to help increase the number of disabled people playing sport.

Record nine Brits qualify for wheelchair tennis Doubles Masters
Reigning champions Jordanne Whiley and Gordon Reid are among a record number of nine Brits that have qualified for the 2014 UNIQLO Wheelchair Doubles Masters, the International Tennis Federation’s year-end championship for the world’s leading Wheelchair Tennis doubles players, which is set to be held in Mission Viejo, Southern California on 5 - 9 November.

British paratriathletes win medals in Madrid
Great Britain’s paratriathletes ended their seasons on a high in Madrid at the ITU International Paratriathlon. Part of the ITU global paratriathlon series, the event offered ranking points that will help secure race starts at major events next year. More importantly, the Madrid event offered international medal-winning opportunities to a diverse British squad.
