The 2013 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival will take place in Brasov, Romaina, from the 17th to the 22nd of February. Its participants, between the ages of 14 and 18, will compete in eight winter sports disciplines, Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Biathlon, Ice Hockey, Figure Skating, Short Track, Ski Jumping and Snowboarding.
The festivals are organised in two-year cycles and run by the Association of European Olympic Committees and its committee.
