Summer EYOF 2013
The 2013 European Youth Olympic Festival will take place in Utrecht, Netherlands, from the 14th to the 19th of July. Its participants, between the ages of 13 and 18, will compete in 9 summer sports disciplines; athletics, basketball, cycling, gymnastics, handball, judo, gymnastics, swimming, tennis and volleyball. Team GB will be taking 44 athletes who will compete in 5 of the 9 sporting disciplines.
Just like at the Olympics, the young sports boys and girls will live in the Olympic Village. There’s an opening and closing ceremony and of course an Olympic Flame and Olympic Flag.
