Keothavong beaten in Copenhagen

Anne Keothavong exited the Copenhagen Open in the second round as she was beaten by second seed Angelique Kerber.
The British number two took the first set but Germany's Kerber, currently ranked 16 in the world, fought back to win 4-6 6-3 6-3.
Keothavong had seen off Hungarian qualifier Melinda Czink in the first round in Denmark, but after an impressive start against Kerber she was soon pegged back by the 24-year-old, who won her maiden WTA event at the Open GDF Suez in Paris earlier this year.
Earlier in the week, British number four Laura Robson put up a brave fight before falling to third seed and world number 20 Jelena Jankovic in the first round.
Robson put up a strong fight, breaking her Serbian opponent five times in the match but was let down by a poor serve of her own as Jankovic eventually prevailed 6-4 7-6 (10-8).
