Job Description
Loughborough College is looking to the future with confidence; committed to continued growth, building on existing partnerships and establishing new strategic alliances which continue to meet the needs of learners and stakeholders.
We have created a Deputy Manager position for our rapidly expanding Sport Work Related Learning Programme Area to lead and co-ordinate BTEC programmes and to develop and lead on Teaching and Learning.
You will be responsible for leadership of programmes and ensuring high standards of quality are achieved. Reporting to the Work Related Learning Manager you will be required to work with external partners and contribute to the Colleges aim to provide outstanding quality and responsiveness in teaching and learning.
To be considered for this exciting new position you will have successful experience working leading on BTEC programmes, with wide knowledge and experience of planning, organising and delivering a diverse and creative curriculum. Knowledge of elite sport education programmes would be beneficial.
You will be expected to undertake delivery days, staff training and development, quality assurance, development of bespoke delivery models and curriculum, timetabling and to be a role model for outstanding teaching and learning.
