I learnt to sail in a Polly Oppie 2 up with my best friend Jon at my parents sailing school in Falmouth.

Biggest influence in your career to date?
My Dad, he introduced me to the sport and is as passionate about my carrer now as he was then.
Your worst moment in sailing?
Capsizing my Tornado for the first time ever as we lead around the windward mark at the 2008 World Championships

Winning Gold at the ISAF Youth Worlds in home waters (Weymouth) 2006

If you weren’t a professional sailor what else would you be?
Professional Wake boarder or probably and more likely a marine engineer.
How do you progress from a club sailor to an Olympic class sailor?
Fortunately I was very involved with the RYA from and early age. The youth system provided me with a great pathway through to the Olympic level.
What are your greatest passions outside of sailing?
Music, Wakeboarding

Has injury ever prevented you from sailing?
No, touch wood
Most expensive sailing accident?
Farr45 rig clash, luckily I didn’t have to pay for it!
