Supporting the Industry

We are committed to supporting the British Marine Industry. On a national and International level members of the BMF Technical Department represent our members on a number of key technical committees, helping to ensure their best interests are safeguarded.

As well as helping to shape the industry the BMF is dedicated to supplying our members with up to the minute advice and technical documentation that reflects the rapidly evolving world we work in. Whether unearthing the details of an ISO standard or providing guidance to business support the Technical Department is on hand to help.

ICOMIA & IMO

As members of the  International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) the BMF has the opportunity to lobby the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). These connections allow us to represent the interests of our members at the very highest level.
