Projects on behalf of our Associations on different sectors of the industry are considered during each year’s business plan, outlined below:

MARINAS

-   Marina and Berth Capacity in the UK

A thorough investigation into the number of marinas and associated berths was conducted in 2013. Click here for the results at a total and regional level, by inland and coastal.

-   Marina Occupancy Survey

Between 19 February and 8 March 2013, click here to see a survey was undertaken amongst businesses to get a snapshot of supply and demand for marina berths.

SUPERYACHT SECTOR REPORT

An annual project on behalf of Superyacht UK determines the value of this sector and identifies trends in the design, build, supply chain and service of yachts over 24 metres load line length within the UK market.

INLAND BOAT HIRE

A survey undertaken on behalf of APCO determines the number of hire boats available on the inland waterways in 2011 at a total level and by region, occupancy rates and future trends. 

ECONOMIC BENEFITS OF MARINAS

Individual reports have been conducted on marinas on behalf 
of TYHA which includes number of marinas and  berths available and economic benefits of marinas.

ENGINE & PERSONAL WATERCRAFT SALES

A quarterly project for MEEMA  tracks inboard diesel
engine sales (for contributors only)
