New research from the British Marine Federation (BMF) and its association, Superyacht UK, reports the UK based superyachts manufacturing and supply to be at its most positive for 7 years. It reveals the value of the sector to have grown by 7.1% from 2012/13 (£492 million in 2013/14) with profits rising for 43% of respondents.

Gold medal winning Olympian, Sir Ben Ainslie, celebrated the British Marine Federation’s Apprentice award scheme on Tuesday 16th September at the PSP Southampton Boat Show. Fifty five graduating apprentices from all areas of the marine industry were presented with their awards by the America’s Cup sailor.
