Dr Tracy Long

Biography
Dr Tracy Long is a non-executive board member at DCMS, where she is also chair of the audit and risk committee, and a member of the remuneration committee.
Tracy is the founder of Boardroom Review, a leader in the field of board evaluation.
She advises the Efficiency and Reform Group (Cabinet Office) on the evaluation of departmental and ministerial boards, and in 2012 contributed to the Civil Service Reform Plan. She is an advisory director of Carnegie Hall.

Our non-executive directors are senior figures from outside the department who bring a diverse mix of expertise and skills from across the public and private sector. They all:
- give guidance and advice to DCMS leaders and ministers
- support and challenge management on the department’s strategic direction
- provide support in monitoring and reviewing progress
