Welcome to the Multihull Centre
The UK's Multihull Specialist
Situated in Millbrook, a sheltered tidal estuary close to Plymouth Sound, the Multihull Centre is the ideal base for cruising the UK’s beautiful south west coastlines, with easy access to the whole of the length and breadth of Devon and Cornwall. The sub-tropical Isles of Scilly, the South West Approaches and the Atlantic Ocean are also close by if you are feeling more adventurous.
We offer a warm welcome to visiting sailors, with pontoons and quayside moorings for both long and short-stay yachts, and local services and facilities within easy reach. The pubs and shops and of Millbrook village are just a ten minute walk from your berth, and the rest of our beautiful Rame Peninsula - comprising Maker Heights and the picturesque villages of Kingsands and Cawsands - offers cafés and restaurants when you don’t feel like cooking, with beautiful Whitsands Bay just around the corner for day trips. All in all there is plenty to do ashore as well as afloat, with beaches, woodland, country walks, excellent live music and excellent food and ales to try.
The Multihull Centre, Foss Quay, Millbrook. Cornwall.
The Multihull Centre was established in 1968, when the late Pat Patterson sailed his own designed and built 42ft catamaran up to a disused brickworks quarry in Millbrook and decided he liked it so much he wanted to stay. A successful design and boat building business has grown here since then and we can now offer a new pontoon layout with power and water supplies, large hard standing for boat storage, workshops and container storage. New toilet and shower facilities and a launderette have been fitted for berth holders.
