Three RYA NI funded High Performance sailors have had an exciting week in Santander, qualifying their respective classes for the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Entry to the RYANI Youth Championships is only available online and closes on 23rd September. Entries will not be accepted after this date.

This is Northern Ireland's premier Youth and Junior Sailing event in the calendar.

Strangford LoughYC attracted a record 92 boats for the penultimate Topper Traveller event of the year; the competitors were treated to sparkling seas, blue skies and a brisk force 4 which the leading boats revelled in.

After three days of strong winds, the final day of the Zhik Laser National Championships was always forecast for light breeze before strengthening in the afternoon.
