Hate the new update Update: great now!
I hate the new update. You have to log-in every time you tap on the Twitter icon. It is VERY annoying. And when you do log-in, it skips all the way to the end of your feed and you have to backtrack all the way to where you left off reading previously. Fix it back the way it was!!! IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!!!!!
UPDATE: Thank you for fixing the last buggy update! It is back the way that I like it-you don't have to log in every time and it doesn't skip all the way to the end of your Twitter feed. It goes back to where you left off reading. THANK YOU!!!! Star update to 5.
Great app😁
I love this app and use it every day but one thing that would be a really nice addition is if you could paste a link to a tweet into the search bar and it'd take you to the tweet. So much easier than pasting it into Safari and pressing the "Open in the app" button. Also, when you make your Twitter private and then someone requests to follow you and you press the check mark button it goes away and says "No follower requests" but when I go into my followers that persons not there. My friends and I all have this problem and I looked it up and other people say they have the same problem. Only reason I rated this app 3 stars.
Twitter Plays a Dangerous Game
This review is not about the app, but about the company. I think we can all agree that the reason we left Facebook was to avoid things we simply did not want to see. Zuckerberg became greedy and allowed revenue to cloud the purpose of the company he had created. The same dark cloud has fallen over Twitter. I now see far too many sponsored ads from irrelevant companies, my account automatically follows people I do not wish to know, and I am subjected to seeing again and again what my friends follow- which is by no means what I want to follow. Twitter is slowly pushing their monetary agenda to the forefront of their business plan, and at the same time losing my business.
