Alpine Challenge 2014: Day Two - Beauty and The Beast

Posted by Matt Moran 22 hours ago

If we saw The Beast yesterday then Day Two of HotChillee's Alpine Challenge delivered us the Beauty. Sunshine, mountains and a blue sky kept us company over some challenging terrain. After a fairly brutal timed climb on the Semnoz twenty-four hours ago we were treated to something a little gentler in the form of the Col des Aravis. But first we had a long drag out from the start village which ensured… Read full post Read full post

Day One of the HotChillee’s 2014 Alpine Challenge got off to a quick start with a time-trial on the Col de la Forclaz which would seed the riders into speed-based groups. From the off it was great to see so many riders on the road wearing Wattbike jerseys, friends both old and new. Not to mention the numerous riders telling us how much they loved training on their ‘beloved’ Wattbike.… Read full post Read full post

Posted in Events by Ben Addison about 3 days ago

Last weekend, Rowing Olympic medallists Matt Ryan, who won Silver at Beijing and Karsten Fosterling, who won bronze at London, took on a challenge not on the bucket list of most – continuously riding the Wattbike for 24 hours.
