Splash World Championship 2005
Puck, Poland

A lack of wind in Puck, Poland, delayed the start of racing in day two of the Splash World Championship. However conditions improved and Hielke DIJKSTRA (NED) took full advantage recording two top three finishes to rise to the top of the leaderboard.
Overnight leader Mark BONSINK (NED) dropped to ninth in the first race of the day, and despite recovering to score a bullet in the next race, he loses to the top spot to DIJKSTRA, who ollowed her two second places on day one with two thirds yesterday.

In third position, New Zealand's Andy MALONEY scored a bullet and a third place to break the all Dutch top five from the first day. Belgium's Laura MAES also had a good day and now lies fifth, five points behind Steyn SCHILTKAMP (NED).
