It was a dominant day for the local Italian contingent, who are leading in the Tornado, 470 men, and 49er fleets after two days, with a further five Italian sailors currently chasing from the silver medal positions.

Karl Suneson (SWE) dominates the Lasers at this stage of the proceedings, currently counting 3 firsts in the four races completed, whilst the French seem to be the fighting force in the Mistral class, Julien Bontemps
