Breitling Regatta 2007
Medemblik, Netherlands

Sunshine and light and shifty winds greeted the competitors for the first day of the ISAF Grade 1 Holland Regatta in Medemblik. The conditions resulted in surprise results, as the underdogs took their opportunity to grab the headlines.
The difficult conditions created resulted in course changes and postponement for some classes, although the schedule was completed for the majority of the classes.

In the 49er three races were sailed. The #3 crew on the ISAF World Sailing Rankings, Petro SIBELLO and Gianfranco SIBELLO (ITA) started with a sixth place and came back with two bullets. They are now leading with just one point ahead of European Champions Stevie MORRISON and Ben RHODES (GBR).
