Silver Panda Wins Again

Road Range Wilson Trophy 2007
West Kirby, Great Britain

Silver Panda won the all-American final at the 2007 British Open Team Racing Championships to lift the Road Range Wilson Trophy. In a repeat of the 2006 final, Silver Panda defeated reigning ISAF Team Racing World Champions Team Whishbone 3-1 to take the title.

Silver Panda were represented in West Kirby by Colin MERRICK and Amanda CALLAHAN, Peter LEVESQUE and Liz HALL, and Clay BISCHOFF and Martha CARLETON.

Team from Australia, Canada, Ireland and the USA travelled to West Kirby to take on the Brits for the 58th Wilson Trophy, one of the most prestigious prizes in team racing.

The semi-finals saw home favourites West Kirby Hawks go down 2-0 to Silver Panda, whilst another British team, the New Forest Pirates, lost 2-1 to Team Whishbone.
