St Quay International Women Match Race - Day One

Racing began yesterday at the St Quay International Women Match Race in Saint Quay-Portrieux, France. Anne-Claire Le Berre (FRA) and Camilla Ulrikeholm (DEN) lead the way with 6 wins each.
There are just seven teams competing in the events as Claire Leroy (FRA) suffered an injury in Weymouth during the Skandia Sail for Gold and is unable to compete in St Quay.

Nine flights were completed on day one (frist Round Robin plus two flights of second Round Robin) in 7-14 knots of shifty breeze.

Provisional results:
Anne-Claire Le Berre (FRA) 6 wins - 2 losses
Camilla Ulrikkeholm (DEN) 6 - 2
Tamara Echegoyen (ESP) 5 - 4
Silvia Roca Mata (ESP) 5 - 4
Julie Bossard (FRA) 4 - 4
Katie Archer (GBR) 3 - 6
Morgane Fountaine (FRA) 1 - 8

The plan for the event is to sail four Round Robins, Semi Finals and Finals.
