ISAF Online Women's Forum
Website

The Online ISAF Women's Forum is this week being moderated by Josje Hofland-Dominicus, member of the ISAF Racing Rules Committee and Judges Sub-Committee.
Topics raised include `Awareness of Women in Sports' with pointers as to where you can find various information, `Women in Ice Sailing', `Women Officiating', and `Women racing in the Sydney-Hobart'.

The ISAF Women's Forum provides an excellent arena for discussion, bringing together women on all of ISAF's committee to discuss a large number of issues effecting the sport, and therefore provides the vehicle for the members to provide input directly back to each of their respective ISAF Committees. At their meeting in November 2002, discussion at the Women's Forum ranged across women acting as mentors in all aspects of the sport, mixed sailing as an event, promoting and engaging youth in sport, the organisation of women's seminars at regional events, open events being truly open (able to be sailed equally by men and women) and more.
Anyone is welcome to use the ISAF Women's Forum, which can be accessed via ISAF Sailor. Simply register to ISAF Sailor at www.sailing.org and then proceed to Sailors' Forums. You do not have to actively participate you can just follow the thread as the debate progress. However your input is very much welcomed and is needed to ensure continued debate. You are invited to open a new topic of discussion that you would like addressed or alternatively email: womensforum@isf.co.uk with your feedback.

Next week will see Madgalena Puciata (POL), member of the ISAF Windsurfing Committee, moderating the forum. Magdalena's background is as an Olympic class competitor, physiotherapist, journalist and more recently kiteboarder.
