Buy a Boat

During the winter of 2011/12 the RYA conducted a survey of its membership. One of the services that RYA members indicated they would see great value in was a classified listing service on the RYA website as buying and selling boats to and from RYA members.

The RYA have teamed up with boats.com to provide a full boat sales classified service. RYA Members also have access to the RYA Legal helpline including a Sale and Purchase Pack, which includes template agreements, bill of sale and advice.

The RYA have teamed up with boats.com to be able to provide a buy and sell portal with enhanced listings for RYA members

• Duplicate listings on RYA.org.uk and boats.com
• RYA members listings marked with an RYA member icon
• Quick turnaround with fewer parties involved in the sales process
• Maintain control of the sales process and the speed at which it progresses
• No one knows your boat as well as you do
• With proper planning, it can be an easy and satisfying process
