Membership Types and Prices 

RYA membership types and annual subscription rates.

The easiest way to pay your membership subscription is to set up a Direct Debit which helps keep our costs down, and which we pass back to you in a saving on the full membership rate.

Please Note - The fees shown below came into effect on the 1st Oct 2013.

RYA Membership Categories from 1 April 2010

Junior

Designed for youngsters up to the age of 11. Junior members will receive a welcome pack containing an activity book and will be sent quarterly bulletins. Any family members in this age group will automatically receive this membership.

Youth

Designed for those between 12 and 17 years of age. Youth members will receive a welcome pack containing the RYA Youth Notebook, special e-bulletins, and a dedicated area on the RYA Website.  Any family members in this age group will automatically receive this membership.

Under 25

U25 Full membership of the RYA, discounted for young adults between 18 and 24.

Personal

Full individual membership of the RYA

Family

Two adults and any number of children under the age of 18 living at the same address.  Any children in the membership will become either Junior or Youth Members of the RYA as part of this membership at no additional cost.

Gold

Any full Personal or Family members who have held membership for a continuous 5 year period receive Gold Membership, which includes a Gold Membership card and additional benefits and occasions.

Life

Lifetime membership of the RYA.  A single one-off payment to the RYA based on an age-related calculation.  Immediately qualifies holders to Gold membership status. Please contact Member Services for a quote.

Note To RYA Instructors

Any RYA Membership category held by a currently qualified RYA Instructor automatically qualifies the holder to a special Instructor membership card (sent at your next renewal) and a range of additional benefits.  No action is required by the holder as your membership will be upgraded as soon as your qualification is issued and you will automatically be entitled to the additional benefits.
