    Twenty-six ! 🎉 I was barely considered a viable fetus when I was born at 24 weeks weighing a whopping two pounds. The doctors estimated I likely wouldn’t survive the first night and certainly not the first year. I think they may have been a little off…

    Cerebral palsy affects movement, muscle control, and development. However, with good treatment & support over 50%-60% of people with CP can walk independently and have an average life expectancy.

    I am currently working with a 12 year old with unilateral to tie his shoelaces. We have tried various methods, using CO-OP, but he is still finding it tricky. Can anyone share any suggestions/tips/tricks? Thank you so much.

    CP is the most common motor disability in childhood. Cerebral means having to do with the brain. Palsy means weakness or problems with using the muscles.
