@tristan oh wow, that's a big change, but I fully support you ;)

@tristan isn't it crazy. All that expertise and precision. But none for software. -
@tristan Have some longer thoughts about this? Just curious. -
@eharris yeah, I’ll forward you the email I sent to leica. Easier than repeating it. Best address? -
@tristan Want to borrow my a6000 for an afternoon to make sure you like Sony’s firmware first? -
@tchebotarev not that crazy of a switch. The glass will stay the same. I’ll just have a camera body that actually works for a change. -
@tristan yup,@davidcharlec uses a7 with Leica glass, it's the best combo in my opinion. -
@zadr I don’t even care at this point. Anything that’s full frame and mirrorless will do. -
@tchebotarev@davidcharlec I’m still worried about the supposed CA issues with UWA lenses, but I’ll take those as they come. -
@tristan *opens arms* COME HOME BROTHER! :P With Apple's adding NFC to iPhone, you'll be able to setup the iOS Sony remote with just a tap! -
@tristan Told you that you'd like the a7 -
@tristan I recommend trying a Leica that doesn’t have firmware, nor needs a battery. -
@rstephens@tristan pretty normal when you get down to it. Check out complaints about Ux of $50k medium format digital backs. -
@aaronbrethorst@rstephens Just not an option for the type of photography I do (e.g. long exposures). -
@tristan@rstephens I’m saying they have awful ux. And MF is totally an option for long exposure. I do them on my blad all the time. -
@aaronbrethorst How would a digital camera work without a battery? I thought your implication was go film. -
@tristan hey can I borrow yr digital leica? -
@tristan right, exactly.
